What to Expect: The Dental Veneer Treatment Process
The process of getting dental veneers begins with a treatment consultation, tooth preparation, and dental veneer design. During this initial appointment, our dentist will talk with you about your concerns and treatment expectations to recommend a personalized dental veneer design and treatment plan.
We then prepare the surfaces of your teeth by removing a thin layer of tooth enamel. This allows room to accommodate the porcelain veneers and achieve a natural, seamless look. Once your teeth have been prepared, we take three-dimensional digital scans and upload the specifications into design software that we use to design your veneers and custom treatment plan.
The porcelain veneers are then manufactured in a dental lab. Once they are ready for placement, we will have you return to our office for fitting, adjustments, and permanent placement which is achieved using dental cement. You can then enjoy your new smile and revitalized look.
