Dr. s. Zak Hallock

“As a person who loves God and loves people, I believe serving others through dentistry provides a great way to build lasting relationships and help change lives in a very meaningful way.”

Journey to Dentistry

While pursuing a Psychology degree from Lock Haven University, Dr. Hallock initially set out to become the next Dr. Phil. But working in family counseling with the goal of helping people led him to turn to dentistry – a career that still offered the opportunity to change lives, but through more measurable, physical outcomes.

Dental Education

He married his college sweetheart in undergrad and after graduating in 2008, he headed to Case Western Reserve University where he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Advanced Training

As a lifelong learner, he has completed advanced Dental Implant Training at the highly regarded Midwest Implant Center. He also completed the Dawson Academy Residency program and the Academy of GP Orthodontics Residency program. Dr. Hallock typically completes 3-4 times the required learning to maintain his dental license. This allows him to be proficient at many areas of dentistry.

Family Matters

He’s passionate about spending time with his wife, Meghan, and their four wonderful children (Logan, Nathaniel, Olivia, and Chloe). He also enjoys hiking, sauna, exercise, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

It seems ironic for me to say "I loved it" when referring to a dental appointment but Dr. Hallock and his team are gentle and caring professionals and they deserve a 5 star rating!
